Products made from soy, including soy milk contains filoestrogen which is known by the name of isoflavone.
Isoflavone is in various forms and give rise to different effects.
Some estrogen-like hormone isoflavone functioning inside the body, but the effect produced is very low compared with the hormone estrogen in the body.
While most other isoflavone will work as an antiestrogen, which will inhibit the activity of the hormone estrogen in the body.
Some studies say, soy milk consumption in high doses can lengthen the menstrual cycle.
Lowering the hormone FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH hormone lowers (lutenizing hormone).
For women with fertility problems, a change in the circumstances of this hormone can complicate chances of getting pregnant.
But high doses can cause effects like this is equivalent to 3 cups of soy milk for a month, containing 60 grams of soy protein which equates to 45 mg of isoflavone.
Consuming amounts of soy milk to taste will not interfere with fertility and pregnancy.
