Definition Of Health Services

Definition of health services according to Lavey and Loomba is every effort well held alone or together in an organization to improve and maintain health, prevent illness, cure disease and restore health directed against individuals, groups and communities. 

The services of health can also be said as health services efforts work based on social functions in the field of health care services for individuals and families. Social functions here means more emphasis on the elements of humanity and not take advantage commercially.

These health efforts must be comprehensive, integrated, sustainable, tiered, professional and quality, as well as not contrary to the rule of scientific, socio-cultural norms, morals and ethics of the profession.
